We have successfully implemented systems to produce bar-coded labels from information stored in our chemical databases.

These systems use industry-standard barcode printers connected over in-house networks. Bar-coded labels are produced upon request at a printer specified in the application, which can be located anywhere on the network.

This means that labels can be produced wherever they are needed, such as in the lab or sample store. The number of labels printed is controlled by the application, so that labels can be produced for any number of sample bottles, as well as for the chemists lab notebook.
